Originally released in 1981, The Roland TB-303 Bass Line synthesizer was a commercial failure and the product was discontinued after only three years. It would have probably been consigned to the history books if cheap second hand units had not been adopted by electronic musicians and become the mainstay of Techno & Acid House dance music in the second half of the decade.

Network 23 have been using hardware and software clones of the TB-303 for a number of years, and since its launch at the tail end of last year the excellent Arturia Acid V which is their take on this classic synth. This release is a celebration of the distinctive TB-303 sound and makes extensive use of the Acid V alongside the Behringer RD-9 and TD-3 creating 10 Acid flavoured tracks combined with the normal Network 23 Techno, Trance and Berlin School ingredients.
