about

Alan: This track seems to go back a long way, when we were still finding out feet musically, with us still getting our heads round the endless possibilities we have available in our laptops. It follows our usual Berlin style approach with lush pads sliding into strict sequences. This one switches key mid-way and becomes slightly atonal. My favourite monosynth, Monolisa does most of the work on this one, with a sequencer called Clockwork from wok vst www.wokwave.com which emulates the classic 70s analogue step sequencers.

There’s a video for this track on Youtube youtu.be/EW9t5eJtAjM

Simon: I love Peanut Butter, but it has to be crunchy and served on fresh toast with a mug of coffee. This live improvisation is both mystical AND crunchy with some great layers of hypnotic sequences underpinned by spooky pads and also goes well with a mug of coffee or perhaps something stronger!
